1) Thanks for the advice! I actually went ahead and picked up a grinder the other day. Even more delicious coffee here I come!

2) I definitely want to learn more about kosher rioting housewives also. The panelist who spoke about it will have a book coming out in the fall of this year about the history of kosher food in America, so when I have more info I'll definitely write about it here.

3) Yes! I have sourdough starter in my fridge! I would be happy to share some with you and I would loooove to do bagels and homemade gravalax with you. Maybe an indoor brunch instead of in the park at this time of year? ;)

Hey Rita. #1 - you should TOTALLY buy whole bean coffee. Grinders are not expensive, and your coffee stays and tastes fresher longer. I can recommend some good ones.
#2 - Those Kosher housewives rioting.... seems like a scary thought, I'm not going to lie. I want to learn more about this.
#3 - I read on Twitter that you got some sourdough starter. Any chance you'd be willing to split some off for me? I'd take good care of it, and feed it regularly, and we could practice making bagels together!! You could even name it if you wanted. I've been DYING to try to make sourdough bread, but growing your own starter in Brooklyn is not, as they say, an epic win.
